Leif Böckelman

Leif is acting today as Senior Advisor since he retired on the 1st of April, 2025.

Leif has extensive experience in the financial sector, asset management, and corporate finance. Since 1989, he has worked in Finnish and Nordic banks, as well as financial companies in Finland, primarily focusing on asset management. Since 1996, Leif has served in client executive roles for institutional clients and investors, which has also allowed him to gain a broader understanding of the needs and investment strategies of various institutional investors. 

Leif has earned a Bachelor of Laws degree from Stockholm University and an Executive MBA in Finance from Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki. Additionally, Leif has completed the APV 1 and 2 exams.

In his free time, Leif can usually be found at his archipelago cottage, which offers plenty of activities for forest and garden work. His other hobbies include fishing, cooking, and, if time allows, yachting and tennis. He has a Green Card in golf and perhaps now able to ”activate” even this hobby.
